GigEcoin competed in the ‘Collaboration in the Gig Economy’ Conference held in London by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) on the 26th of April, 2018 and Joseph Daramola, founder of GigEcoin, was one of 5 finalists at the Dragons’ Den.
Singapore, 2018 (OkayKrypto) On the 26th of April 2018, attendees at the Collaboration in the Gig Economy: Connecting and Optimising the Supply Chain conference in London eagerly anticipated the highlight of the event, the Dragons’ Den, which rounded up the activities for the day.
The attendees included hundreds of contingent and workforce solutions programme managers from many Fortune 1000 companies.
The Dragons’ Den saw 5 gig economy technology companies seize the great opportunity to share about their latest innovations as well as pitch their business cases to a panel of 4 industry judges in a bid to win the first European Collaboration in the Gig Economy Innovation Award.
This panel was made up of influential figures and leaders in the world of the Gig Economy selected by SIA. The 4 selected judges were Coople CEO and Founder, Viktor Calabro, Head of the Adecco Group X UK&I, Kelly Griffith, What’s Next Consultancy CEO, Kevin Green and Senior Vice President of Contingent Workforce Strategies at Staffing Industry Analysts, Bryan Peña and they were tasked with listening, judging and voting for the pitch and project that they felt had the best chance of success within the Gig Economy sector.
Having undergone a rigorous selection process, Joseph Daramola, Founder of GigEcoin qualified as one of 5 selected finalists in the Dragons’ Den. Like the other finalists, Joseph had to present his business case about why he believes GigEcoin has the greatest potential to succeed in the Gig Economy.
Under the scrutiny of 4 industry experts, Joseph introduced the exciting developments of GigEcoin and the Gig Economy Platform Wallet, the first ever blockchain and cryptocurrency recruitment platform. His presentation was seen as an exceptional insight into the staffing industry and was very well received by the attendees and was raucously applauded.
