On August 25th 2018, the OkayKrypto media team was invited to the Blockchain Invasion Live Event to interview the leaders of 8 blockchain companies.
Here are the insights from our interview with the Founder and CEO of Notus Ecosystem, Ryuzo Takahashi.
OkayKrypto: Tell us about your company…
Ryuzo: Our company is the one and only blockchain based cost-free business infrastructure generated by green energy assets. And what we do in Notus Ecosystem, is to give out the turnkey solution to the problems we are suffering from right now.
OkayKrypto: What got you into the blockchain space and how long have you been in this industry?
Ryuzo: We were going to do an IPO in Japan and some of our angel investors told us that there’s another way to raise funds to do what we want to do. So, we started to talk to people who are in the blockchain industry and we found out that we might have a good chance to do an ICO and that it was likelier for the blockchain industry to realise our business model. I’ve been in the blockchain space since October, 2017. Before that, I was just a regular business man.
OkayKrypto: What’s your company’s unique selling point or differentiator?
Ryuzo: The business infrastructure we have adopted is similar to most ICOs out there. However, instead of using security tokens, we are using sustainable utility tokens to give people a more secure way to use our token as a medium in our ecosystem.
OkayKrypto: What are the major benefits users can obtain and what’s the end result you hope to achieve?
Ryuzo: The users will be free from all the costs they usually encounter and have to pay when doing business. These include trading costs and processing payment costs. On top of that, not only are Notus Coins allowed to be used in our ecosystem, we are also accepting Bitcoin and Ethereum. As such, we are open and user friendly which makes it easier for people to join and use our system.
OkayKrypto: Who is your main target market and which market sector do you serve?
Ryuzo: Since we are doing all kinds of transactions and they are all cost free because all our operation and marketing costs are covered using our green energy revenue, our ecosystem will be completely free for everyone to use. Therefore, we do not have an exact target market to go after. But we will start targetting property trading and maybe restaurants. Everyone can use our ecosystem and can benefit from this service.
OkayKrypto: We know right now that you’re in the midst of raising funds for your ICO. What kinds of investors are you looking for?
Ryuzo: I would like everyone to join us. We would prefer if it is not just a very big VC fund getting all of our tokens. We would like everyone to share our coins and get it.
